Everything you need to teach hands on art, music, architecture, and drama in just 15 minutes a day for 1 semester. Apprentice Arts Volume 1 covers a wide variety of genres from cave paintings to modern, and presents the more important and recognizable pieces of art, music, and architecture to kids.
The Apprentice Arts series groups the art, and music together with a common theme (night, world animals, winter, and making faces) then adds fun activities in creative movement and architecture. Apprentice Arts is unit study making it easy to add into any curriculum at any time to give the kids a nice break from the required subjects.
Apprentice Arts makes experiencing the arts fun. All of the activities are very "hands-on". Every week we make a point to remind the parent that "music does not have to be listened to sitting still." This curriculum encourages creative expression, and allows th child to get in touch with their creativitiy while learning to appreciate the fine arts.
